Adviser

We are looking for an adviser with welfare benefits expertise to provide high quality information, advice and support to Watford residents. You will provide both face to face and telephone advice on issues including benefits, budgeting advice and housing and refer into to specialist support as required.

Ideally you will have some experience of giving advice and working with vulnerable clients. We want people who are passionate about giving an effective service to those most in need. Demonstrating that you can engage skilfully with clients and have proven skills in working in a busy environment.

You will be a highly motivated and strong team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Having the ability to understand complex information; have good numeracy skills and have effective oral and written communication skills.

There will be opportunities to progress within the organisation.
