Off the grid, off the radar: The hidden reality of fuel poverty in rural Wales 1.3 MB

The aim of this research was to examine fuel poverty in Wales through a rural lens. It looks at how energy unaffordability manifests, what impact it has, what coping mechanisms are deployed to deal with the higher prices, and whether support mechanisms, including retrofit schemes, are adequate. Although the focus is on communities in rural Wales, the findings are not limited to this group, and also describe wider experiences of low income households.
