Citizens Advice Manchester is a charity which provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice. We have exciting opportunities for you to join our team as a Trainee Money Adviser on a new innovative project.
You will join our existing team of experienced Specialist Money Advisers who will deliver Money Advice through our MAPS funded National Debt Advice Hub, our Money Advice Trust Partnership, a local service Grant and our new Consumer Energy Debt Advice Service. Our services operate from Monday to Friday (9am to 8pm) and Saturday (9am to 1pm).
Our services provide Money Advice to clients living in England and Wales via telephone and digital channels. Our service is free to clients struggling with debts and will offer a full range of support helping clients find a way forward with their debts. As households struggle with the cost of living crisis our services are essential and deliver impactful outcomes making a tangible difference to people’s lives.
This is an excellent chance for Trainee Money Advisers to receive comprehensive training to
develop their career in the advice sector, achieving competence as a Specialist Money Adviser within 12-18 months depending on your performance, skills and experience (attracting a salary increase to £30,686). Successful applicants will have:
● At least 6 months experience of delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment such as banking, insurance or a contact centre.
● Ability to work independently without close supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
● Experience of listening and questioning with an ability to manage challenging situations.
