About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Energy Team Support Worker (Events and Outreach) to join our team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of raising awareness of our free energy advice services and promoting Citizens Advice through engaging events and outreach activities across local communities.
As part of our Energy Team, you’ll coordinate and deliver a wide range of events, from community drop-ins to targeted outreach sessions. You’ll have brief energy conversations, tailored to individual needs, helping people understand energy efficiency measures and how our caseworker teams can support them during this cost-of-living crisis. Your work will be vital in raising awareness of energy issues and connecting people with the broader services Citizens Advice offers. You’ll identify clients who needs more in-depth help from our team. You’ll enjoy our flexible working policy but will be available to cover events yourself (which might include evenings and weekends at times).
You’ll also play a key role in collecting and reporting data, ensuring our outreach efforts are effective and continuously improving. Collaboration is central to this role—you’ll work closely with colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and impactful service delivery.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and the ability to engage in community settings. If you’re ready to take on a rewarding role that combines practical support with creative outreach, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in making a positive impact.
We have offices located in North Nottinghamshire, and give advice from Worksop, Mansfield and Retford. We are friendly, dedicated and receive consistently excellent marks in quality audits, staff surveys and client satisfaction surveys. We are a disability confident employer.
